Metal seated valve are widely used in ash handling system with a history of hundreds of years.But restricted by metal material properties, the metal seated valve can not adapt to abrasive medium working in serious condition ,so metal seated valves will be leaked serious after working in short life,and it will affect the stability of the system operation greatly.So traditional metal seated valves are in need of radical innovation in materials, design and manufacturing process .
Recently ,more and more metal seated double disc gate valves are replaced by pneumatic ceramic lined double disc gate valve by coal power plant enduser .The ceramic lined gate valve have greatly reduce the maintenance cost and labor cost. So the system runs steadily and the benifits of coal power plant is greatly increased .
