FREE-VALVE’s flange end wcb body y type flush bottom valve is designed to ensure that the slurry is flushed out smoothly, and the valve is closed without dead space.
Flange end wcb body y type flush bottom valves are available in design of disc opening into the tank (rising disc type) and disc lowering into the valve body(lowering disc type),disc opening into the tank type , which opens when the disc goes up and disc lowering into the valve body type, which opens when the disc goes down. With disc lowering into the valve body type, the curvature of the seat and disc surface can be shaped to align completely with the walls of the vessel or tank,which is no need to worry about interfering with the stirrer blades.
With the disc opening into the tank type, the top of the disc is tapered so that when it lifts, any solid particles or residues at the bottom of the vessel are broken up.disc opening into the tank type valve is used where enough space is available between bottom pad and the stirrer blade. The mass load inside the tank helps closing and tight shut off the flush bottom valve.
